Popular Bridal Bouquets

In our opinion one of the most fashionable wedding flowers that you will see will be the white phalanopsis orchid. These orchids can be arranged as a hand tied bouquet or wired into a shower style bouquet. This elegant flower has no scent and is very fragile but its beauty compliments any modern bride.

Arum lilies can be bought all year round with the hybrid Arums (in orange, purple, pale pink and yellow) available most of the year. These flowers can be used as a simple, single stem tied with a chiffon ribbon or in a mixed shower bouquet with a dramatic main flower.

Finally we'd like to mention the ever-popular Casablanca Lily. If you want a heavily scented bouquet then this is the choice for you. These lily heads are ideal for wiring into a shower style to the ground and yet can be carried, hand tied, if preferred.

Having started to write about this subject we have realised we could go on for ever. The list of popular flowers is very much longer. But the key is everything else that goes with the flowers, the dress, the venue, the season, and your own personal style. Cream Peonies, blue hyacinth, peach lisianthus, roses (but not just any old roses!) lily of the valley, stephanotis, bluebells, burgundy amaryllis these are just a few of our favourite flowers that when used by themselves or mixed with other flowers make stunning bouquets and arrangements.
