The Old Swan & Minster Mill Completes Its Brand New Minster Room by Old Swan & Minster Mill @ 30/1/2012
January 2012 - Enviably set within some of the most beautiful and romantic gardens in England, the Old Swan & Minster Mill, in the Cotswolds, provides the perfect backdrop to tie the knot. And in order to make this experience even more special, Lana de Savary, wife of celebrated hotelier and sailor Peter de Savary, is pleased to announce the completion of its brand new room - The Minster Room.
Taking advantage of its stunning backdrop, the Minster Room blends in perfectly with the picturesque gardens and the 600 year-old Old Swan building. Thickset oak beans form bold lines around the room, leading to a large inglenook fireplace which takes centre stage and is very much the focal point of the room. Architecturally stunning, the new room resembles the historical era, coupling traditional architecture with a modern twist. Able to accommodate 48 guests, the Minster Room creates a dramatic atmosphere and is perfect for bespoke weddings.
Romantically set in over 65 acres of gardens, orchards and surrounded by what remains of the ancient Royal Hunting Forest of Wychwood, the property provides the perfect quintessentially English setting for a romantic wedding.
