The Vyne String Quartet is made up of four professional musicians, all of whom have graduated from the UK's finest Conservatoires. We are a highly experienced and professional string quartet, and we have been playing to the highest standard at weddings for over 5 years. We are proud to have an extensive repertoire which spans classical jazz and pop from Mozart to The Beatles and even Take That! Our name is ‘Serenade’ and we are a Classical Wedding String Quartet with a difference. Not only can we perform as a wedding string quartet but also as a flute quartet, string trio or flute trio. We specialise in the provision of wedding music for all aspects of your special day, from classical wedding music favourites for your religious or civil wedding ceremony music to more light-hearted music for your wedding reception or music to accompany your wedding breakfast. We play in a variety of styles ranging from classical to jazz and pop arrangements and we are open to, shall we say, less-than-conventional requests - Guns n Roses on one memorable occasion! We allow one special arrangement of a song not on our list per wedding at no extra charge.

Magenta Strings are a professional ensemble, who play as a string quartet or string duo. They have a very varied and extensive repertoire and can arrange music especially for your wedding ceremony. The Magenta String Quartet was formed in 2001 when Helen Clarke (violin) and Lucy Deakin (cello) met at Leeds College of Music. Magenta has developed into a vibrant young ensemble and play for weddings and functions throughout Derbyshire and the Northwest. In addition to the quartet of four players, Helen and Lucy also play as a duo. This is a really good option if you are working on a small budget or you have limited space at your wedding venue. Magenta would be the perfect complement to any wedding and will make every effort to accommodate your needs for your big day!
