Acorn Carriage Hire
Arrive in style on your wedding day! Our beautiful matching pairs of palomino or white horses, can be seen at work all over the South-East as well as London. The carriage is an original 1890 blue Landau, with hoods that can be opened or closed for that special winter wedding. Our horses have traditional ostrich plumes head-dress, and our experienced staff wear full livery to matched. We are fully qualified and insured. Please contact us for details.

Our heavy horses – Clyde (predominantly Percheron) and Ottawa (pure-bred Comtois) – are ready and willing to take you from home to your ceremony and reception, accompanied by Viv and Geoff. Everyone dresses in their best outfits. Ottawa achieved Best in Show at Eridge in 2008 and became the first Champion Comtois in the Country. We are well-known locally, giving weekend carriage-rides at Herstmonceux Castle and are happy to travel in our trusty lorry into West Sussex and Kent. Come and meet us, either there or at home, to discuss your particular requirements.
